How it all started
I used to work in home furnishing industry. One day, a lady came to pick a textile for her furniture. She picked several textile and rubbed against her skin. Few seconds later, her skin got red because it reacted to the chemical treatments that were used for the fabrics. We didn't have any textiles that weren't treated with chemicals. What I discovered while I was working there was that pretty much every furniture and home decor products we see and purchase in stores contained harsh chemicals. After knowing this, I couldn't keep working there because it was killing my soul. I quit the job and traveled. I looked for natural materials and artisans to make natural interior products, and I landed here in Oaxaca Mexico to start my own company
Our Mission
We design, produce, and sell interior related products made with natural materials. We want to create more options for our home decors that are gentle on earth and us because a lot of home related products contain toxic chemicals that are harmful to us. Many artisans use synthetic materials for their products because there are more demands for affordability as opposed to quality and how things are made, and we want to change that.
